Hello and welcome. My name is Leemor and I am a UX Leader and Design Strategist.

/lee-MORE/ (she, her)

I bring a strategic approach to solving complex challenges and delivering innovative, human-centered solutions. With a proven track record of leading cross-functional, high-performing teams, I focus on driving measurable outcomes that align design excellence with organizational goals.

Currently at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I oversee UX strategy and execution for initiatives that modernize clinical trials and enhance the healthcare experience for patients, clinicians, and operational staff. I am deeply committed to advancing organizational design maturity and fostering cultures that value innovation, collaboration, and impact.

About Me

My leadership approach is built on three core principles:

  • Trust & Alignment – Building strong relationships through active listening, transparency, and strategic communication.

  • Growth & Adaptability – Cultivating a culture of continuous learning, self-awareness, and feedback-driven improvement.

  • Execution & Impact – Driving high-quality, data-informed outcomes through collaboration and iterative design.

With over 12 years of experience in product design—spanning startups, consultancies, and enterprise organizations—I have led UX strategy and execution across healthcare, education, nonprofit, and finance. For the past five years, my focus has been on oncology-related digital products, specializing in clinical trials.

I have built and scaled cross-functional UX teams in mature organizations and from the ground up in fast-moving environments. For the product and projects I lead, I actively advocate for UX by bridging strategic vision with execution, demonstrating how human-centered design translates into competitive advantage and measurable business outcomes.

I have led human-centered AI strategy, which includes running MSK’s first AI Design Thinking workshop that brought together data scientists, product, users, and executive stakeholders to level-set expectations around AI capabilities and select realistic, valuable use cases for implementation.

My management style is transparent, pragmatic, and growth-focused. I work closely with my teams to identify strengths, create development plans, and enable career progression. Through coaching and mentorship, I empower designers, researchers, and technologists to deliver their best work while advancing their careers.

Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, I find inspiration outside of work through scuba diving, cycling, snowboarding, and music production.

I have had the privilege of working under Leemor’s leadership and have been consistently impressed by her creativity, strategic thinking, and exceptional management skills. Leemor has an innate ability to bring out the best in her team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
— Jackie C., Director of Design
I thought UX was a luxury at the beginning but now I think it’s a necessity.
— Michael B., Associate Director of Clinical Research IT
When I think of a design leader who embodies excellence I think of Leemor.
— Mairi M., Senior Product Designer, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Working with Leemor and seeing how the Digitized Clinical Trial work has progressed, this has been the best example of design thinking and partnership I’ve seen thus far, and I make an effort to talk about it to everyone I can.”
— Justin McManus, Senior Product Manager, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Leemor personally mentored me and other clinicians brilliantly to better understand software design to more than a cursory level; this allowed our team to be more adroit at team meetings. As part the design team within a technology organization, Leemor’s versatile skills and breadth of knowledge are invaluable.
— Mehool Patel, Associate Chief Medical Officer for IBM Watson Health Oncology and Genomics
I had the pleasure of working closing with Leemor as the Lead Designer in my team. While I led product, Leemor, myself and our lead developer built a strong relationship to push the product forward and create a strategic roadmap balancing resource capacity with priorities and expected customer adoption. Leemor helped spread the culture of “listening to our users” first while balancing the needs of the business.
— Fred Azar, Product Owner of IBM Watson Health Oncology
